Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) are a leader in K12 for preparing our students for the 21st century. Rockdale Virtual Campus (RVC) offers high quality, Internet-delivered high school courses that equip RCPS students to thrive in the complex life and work environment of the 21st century.
A virtual school can be defined as a location where students can complete their coursework online, while the student and teacher work together from a distance. RVC is an option availble to RCPS high school students for all required course offerings. Course credits and graduation are granted by the traditional high school in which the student is enrolled therefore students must be enrolled in RCPS to participate.
RVC is an option for any student enrolled in RCPS; home school, private school and out-of-county students can also take advantage of RVC offerings. Students may take all of their classes online through RVC; however, a blend of online and traditional classroom learning is recommended for most students.
Students may choose to combine career pathways with an online learning experience. The flexibility of RVC classes can free up a student's schedule to make these pathways more accessible and allow more time for a student to participate in dual enrollment and attend college classes during the day.
- RVC will be doing registration for SUMMER AND FALL courses with the home schools with the schedule below:
- RHS: Feb 27th - March 12th
- HHS: March 13th - 26th
- SHS: March 27th -April 16th
